Yes! You have the characters perfect - with all of their demons and all of their coping skills, and it all buried under trying to come off as well adjusted adults. :)

I was just telling smittywing that this was how I'd see them hooking up, and then she sent me to this story that pretty much sucked the images right out of my head, and then gave them awesome context within canon that was totally believable. \o/!
