Yeah, they really are a good team, these two. Even in canon, where their relationship is very carefully hidden (okay, I'm not totally delusional. *G* even in their canon friendship), they're good at catching each other and helping out when the other needs it.

I'm glad you liked that about the book. It's an aspect of Rossi we've seen hinted at, both with the little notebooks he uses to organize his thoughts on cases, as well as his bestselling books. I wanted to take that a little further so he could try to always be there for Aaron, even after he's dead.
