LOL yes, severity_softly has mentioned that post of yours when I have griped to her about how they've screwed up Hotch's timeline. (I tend to squash the SWAT experience in with his Seattle years, the way Douglas did his, but that still makes things very crowded...) Of course, Morgan's is rather crowded, though still, I think, possible. Rossi really should be older than 52, though, if he was one of the original BAU guys. Look at Hazelwood and Douglas and Ressler, after all. I think they're all older than 52. LOL

I hadn't realized that Deb Fisher had confirmed the beating in a chat. Though I tend to only use stuff that's actually stated in the show as canon (this is a holdover from Harry Potter fandom, where some of JK Rowling's interview comments just pissed me the hell off. *G*) so that wouldn't be a deciding factor for me in fics...then again, it just seems to fit his character, anyway. Everyone is in the BAU for a reason, they are all "damaged" in one way or another.
