I've been working on the fanmix for the 'What Happens in Vegas' fic universe for a while now, and as the AU version of this fic is set to start posting this month as an ongoing series, I figured now was the best time to post it. You don't really need to read the fic to enjoy the music, but it would probably add to your enjoyment of the mix, as the songs I've chosen follow the story arc of the three fics in the universe--some of them may not make sense strictly as a Dave/Em song if you haven't read the fic.

Beautiful mix! Though whenever I see mention of 'Black Magic Woman', I always cringe and think of TG singing it as 'I've got a black magic woman and she's tryin' to take a pebble outta me', in Dharma and Greg *lol* It remains a great song, in spite of this ;)

Ahahaha! You know, I haven't watched that show since it first aired. I've sort of wondered if I would still like it now, but of course seeing TG in such un-Hotchliness would certainly be fun!

Innerslytherin and I wrote a fic we never finished a while back in which I had Dave listening to Santana. Ever since, I think we both associate him with Santana now. ;)

Santana is so very Dave - Smooth could be his theme song!! ;) It's not strictly Santana, but, meh :P Any Italiano that might creep onto the list? Not to hideously sterotype, but I could see Dave singing Dino when he's , um, had a scotchy or seven!! That's a niccce image....

Have you guys ever written drunk Dave fic?? The question is, would it even be possible to get Dave drunk? He might be one of those guys with an endless resistance to the effects of booze! *lol*

There is a scene in The Expansion of Two Natures after the resolution of the Galen case where we had Rossi get drunk, but he wasn't like slobbering drunk or anything. I think that was the drunkest we've gotten him, because he does actually say a few stupid things there. ;) We've also have him planning to get drunk in one scene of the AU to this fic, but I don't think he really gets there, and we have Reid/Rossi bar fic coming up soonish, but come to think of it, most of the times we've written him drunk, he hasn't been druuuunnk drunk. LOL

Oh, fyi, I just realized that first DL had the version of I Can't Control Myself without the sound clip from Hot Fuzz edited out of the end. If you want the version without it, it's there now. :)
